Background

On December 6, 2016, the Nixon Library released newly acquired files of Nixon administration staff member Alexander P. Butterfield. For more information about the release, read the Question & Answer page or view the collection finding aid.

The 50 pages of digitized documents available here are those containing the original handwriting of President Richard Nixon, Congressman Gerald Ford, and a handwritten letter from future Ohio Governor John Kasich.
