The Mayor of Yorba Linda, Tara Campbell, and the Young Civic Leaders Academy visited the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum on April 3, 2019.

Previously Classified Materials Release. Documents pertaining to the Middle East, the India-Pakistan conflict, administrative leaks of information, and transcripts of Dr. Henry Kissinger's telephone conversations (Telcons) are among the previously classified materials now available to researchers.

President Nixon's last surviving brother has died at the age of 88.


Research Room CLOSED for federal holiday Monday, February 18, 2019
The Research Room will be closed on Monday, February 18, 2019 in observance of the Washington's Birthday federal holiday.


February 6, 2019 New Materials Release
The donated materials of Douglas L. Hallett are now available to researchers. The Papers of Douglas L. Hallett consist of correspondence, subject files documenting Hallett’s White House work, drafts of articles and a manuscript written after leaving the White House staff, Rolodex cards of contacts, and printed matter primarily including magazines and newspapers.


Teaching World War I Workshop
On Saturday, February 2, 2019, the Library hosted in its new Presidential Classroom, an all-day teacher’s workshop on teaching World War I. With a grant from the United States World War I Centennial Commission, the program was administered by the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History along with Chapman University.


Christmas Holiday Hours
In observance of the holiday, the research room will be closed on Christmas eve. The museum and research room will both be closed on Christmas Day. We will reopen on Wednesday morning.
