FG 6-26 FEDERAL ENERGY OFFICE
FG 6-26 contains materials pertaining to the Federal Energy Office (FEO), which was established within the Executive Office of the President by Executive Order 11748 effective December 4, 1973. It was created to bring together in one agency the major energy functions of the Federal Government and to provide centralized authority. It was abolished and its functions were transferred to the Federal Energy Administration by Executive Order 11790 of June 15, 1974.
