Come learn about Deborah Sampson, the first woman to fight in the American Revolutionary War. Sampson served in the Fourth Massachusetts Regiment as “Robert Shurtlieff.” She is the only woman to earn a full military pension for participation in the Army.
Deborah Sampson is portrayed by actor Judith Kalaora from History at Play.
